Vermont Village Applesauce, a unique company with a distinctly Vermont point of view, grew organically from its roots when 1970s back-to-the-landers reclaimed neglected mountainside orchards and used the apples to create large batches of applesauce with true homemade taste. When the apples are cooking in their giant copper kettles in Barre, Vermont, you’d swear every house in the valley is baking an apple pie. Inspired by the applesauce, we crafted feast-for-eyes labels with just the right mix of Vermont goodness. Consumers responded accordingly as the company opened up new sales channels and saw steady growth.
